Fibular displacement is a common problem. When the Fibula is out of place, the effects can ripple throughout the body, affecting knee and hip pain. It can influence a shoulder imbalance, or neck pain and even reach as far as someone's migraines or sinus problems! When the body is out of balance in one area, the rest of the body will follow suit. When someone has knee pain, I ALWAYS check for Fibular Displacement to rule out an imbalance in the low leg.
In this course we will revisit and study the anatomy of the low leg, foot and ankle.
With this information, we then practice the assessment protocols of muscular imbalances, orthopedic tests, and become proficient in the massage protocols and muscle techniques for balancing the low leg, affecting the body from head to toe.
The assessment skills and protocols covered are ideal for your active clients, those returning to fitness, to reduce susceptibility to injury and assistant in recovery from injury.
