Modern Cupping Through a Thai Lens
Cupping is one of the world’s oldest healing methods, yet is still being evolved today.
Utilizing Silicone Cups, this 12 CEU Workshop broadens the possibilities of modern treatment. Cupping is the only method which expands and separates tissue, creating literal space in which healing occurs. Learn how to place the cups, move the cups, and move the body with cups applied to release restriction, free mobility, clear stagnation and more.
Looking through a Thai Lens at how the body is organized, develop unique treatment plans that greatly expands your practice. Cupping is the pinnacle of efficiency in bodywork and easy on the practitioner's body. This class will use massage tables, so it is perfect for all practitioners. No prior Cupping or Thai style massage experience is necessary.
Cups are provided for use in class and available for purchase to take home.

- Cups for in-class use
Please bring and wear:
- Set of linens, pillow slip or face cradle cover, and light blanket
- Your preference of massage oil or lotion
- Comfortable clothes that allows for ease of disrobing
- Any snacks and beverages needed. Bring lunch or go out for lunch.

Ryan Sullivan
Ryan Sullivan, LMT, teaches board-approved CE Classes and is an approved provider with NCBTMB #1476.
Ryan studied cupping with Bruce Bentley, widely regarded as the world’s foremost expert on cupping. He studied Thai Massage with Ariela Grodner, founder of Bodhi Shanga School of Thai Massage. Ryan received his Reiki mastership from Toni Walmsley in the Usui Ryoho tradition. He has studied Active Isolated Stretching with Aaron Mattes, creator of the system. Karin Sorvik instructed Ryan in Chi Nei Tsang. Ryan also studied Tuning Fork Therapy with Fabien Maman, the founding father of vibrational sound therapy. Ryan has studied with many other teachers, and continues to seek high-level training in pursuit of life-long learning.
As an instructor and guest instructor at various Florida massage schools Ryan has influenced many aspiring therapists.
In his Tallahassee, Florida office, Ryan practices diverse healing modalities including Cupping, Thai Massage, Reiki and Active Isolated Stretching.
