Seated Massage (Chair Massage)
Seated Massage is the first course I ever wrote.
It holds a special place in my heart, because it is a great way to reach people who have never had massage before, bring them relief, and even hope!
This course is designed to be specific, yet gentle, to give real-time results in pain relief through accurate and experience-guided techniques.
More than that – this style is built up on good body mechanics to keep your work mostly effortless!

- Massage Chair
(We can provide a few massage chairs if you do not have access to one. You will be asked during registration)
- Face cradle covers.
- Wear comfortable clothes allowing for ease of movement.

Carl Christie LMT
Carl Christie BS, NMT, CPT, CES graduated from New Life Institute in 1997 (Now Gwinnett College). He started teaching there the following year including Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Seated Massage, and Hydrotherapy. He started Teaching Continuing Education classes in 2005 and now offers 3 Neuromuscular Therapy classes, Seated Massage and Primal Reflex Release Therapy (PRRT).
He is one of the therapists for the GA Tech Swimming and diving teams, and always enjoys helping athletes perform at their best. He has recently added PRRT, Orthopedic Sports Therapy and Kinesiotaping to his repertoire.
His true joy in being a therapist is helping people that have had chronic pain learn that there are alternatives to drugs and surgery. He loves to spread the word about how much Neuromuscular Therapy can benefit people from all walks of life.
