Restoring Neuro-Muscular Communication for the Lower Body
The lower body is designed to support the body, absorb force, and adapt to movement with efficiency. When certain muscles or muscle fibers stop participating fully, the body compensates. Other muscles take on extra work, often leading to imbalance, fatigue, and patterns that feel difficult to resolve.
The Pauley Link Method® restores clear mind–body communication by reconnecting underactive muscles to the neuromuscular system. Rather than focusing on muscles that feel tight or overworked, this approach brings awareness and activation back to muscles that have gone quiet, allowing compensatory patterns to unwind naturally.
In this class, you’ll learn how to recognize these patterns in the hips, legs, and feet and apply targeted, thoughtful techniques that help muscles re-engage and rebalance. Through assessment, hands-on work, and simple movement integration, the lower body is guided back toward efficiency, support, and homeostasis.
This course is ideal for therapists who want to understand why lower-body compensations occur and who are ready to work with the body in a way that supports lasting balance rather than temporary relief.

Your 12 CE hours will be posted to CEBroker at the end of class, 5pm on October 31.

Ann Pauley is a nationally recognized continuing education provider with over 26 years of experience teaching clinically focused massage therapy education. She has served as an instructor and Department Head of the Sports Massage program at Academy of Somatic Healing Arts and is the creator of The Pauley Link Method, a proprietary approach that integrates anatomy, biomechanics, and the mind-body connection.
