August 3 @ 10:00 am - August 4 @ 3:00 pm$250
Offering focused treatments into your massage practice is a great way to both benefit your treatment outcomes, bringing much needed healing to your clients, but also in building your ideal clientele and referral base. Understanding how to alleviate Carpal Tunnel and Thoracic Outlet Syndromes is a powerful addition to your toolkit. Both syndromes are increasingly common complaints as our posture and habits are affected by technology and screens increasingly consuming our lives beyond just the work day.
This course was developed to provide a deeper understanding of physical imbalances involving the neck, shoulder and arm with the goal to diminish the symptoms of Thoracic Outlet (TOS) and Carpal Tunnel Syndromes (CTS). Throughout this training we will revisit the anatomy of the neck, brachial plexus, arm muscles and chest muscles. You will become proficient in assessment for any impingements of the brachial plexus, CTS & TOS orthopedic tests and learn massage protocols for Carpal Tunnel and Thoracic Outlet Syndromes, as well as, stretches for relieving CTS & TOS symptoms.
